Deadpool
Oh, Deadpool, how I love you. You are one of my favorite characters in the entire Marvel universe. Now we all remember that sham of a Deadpool in that X-men film and we all remember how pissed we were that Hollywood ruined Wade Wilson for us. Even Ryan Reynolds himself, who is also a Deadpool fan, agrees. So when word of the latest Deadpool movie starting making the rounds, I know I, like many other fans out there, were honestly nervous. Well, guys, I am here to tell you that for once Hollywood and Reynold's as done right by Deadpool! That's right comic fans should be rejoicing because this Deadpool movie is amazing!!
Ryan Reynolds is back playing Wade Wilson, our insane, but lovable hero. This time, he knocks it out of the park!Now just to be clear Ryan Reynolds has always played the sarcastic guy in films, which is why I have always loved the idea of him playing Deadpool. They guy is made for it and this time, around he doesn't disappoint. His delivery of snark is on point! Put him with the likes of TJ Miller and Morena Baccarin and we are in for a good time. All the characters in this film really play well off each other. It just works. Deadpool, of course, does as his comic self does and constantly breaks the 4th wall talking directly to viewers. The action is over the top but amazing. This is easily my favorite Ryan Reynolds film of all time and it is pretty close to being my favorite Marvel film ever.
From the second your butt hits the theater seat you are pulled into the crazy Deadpool universe. Just wait for the hilarious opening credits. Deadpool gets an easy A+ from us. No question. Great film and for God's sake just remember this is not for children. Seriously, get your 7-year-old out of the theater. There is a full on butt-naked fighting scene in this movie and that is the least of the adult content here. Trust me.
Get your asses to the theater and go see Deadpool, you will not be disappointed. And of course, stay until the end of the credits for a little something extra.
