Keanu Reeves is back in a big way in

John Wick: Chapter 4!

Rating: A+

Keanu Reeves is back in the explosive 4th chapter of the John Wick Series. For those of you following along with this series you know John Wick is one of the toughest assassins on the planet and hasn't slowed down since we were first introduced to him in the first film. Picking up where Chapter 3 left off we find John fighting hired guns across the globe as he battles to clear his name and earn back his freedom. We are joined again by many faces you know as well as several new to the story. So with all of that does Chapter 4 live up to its predecessors? We have to say without question ABSOLUTELY!

This film is a long one clocking in at just under the three-hour mark, but unlike some movies with that kind of run time, John Wick: Chapter 4 flies by. Seriously, like a good roller coaster once you buckle into the seat the ride is off with a shot. John is rallying his allies like the Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne) & Winston (Ian McShane). We learn that The Table is putting a new man in charge to deal with the "John Wick" problem and we are introduced to the Marquis (Alexander Skarsgård) who takes his new job to new levels of crazy with his determination to destroy John Wick and prove himself and the rightful head of The Table. The Marquis reaches out to a retired assassin named Caine (Donnie Yen) who despite being blind is still a force to be reckoned with and who is now the main man tasked with putting down the boogeyman John Wick. As the bounty on John's head grows more hired killers come out of the woodwork including the elusive Tracker played by Shamier Anderson and his trusty canine sidekick. The plot of course thickens with every former ally John comes into contact with, putting himself and the people he reaches out to at risk.

Fans of the series are not going to be disappointed in this non-stop thrill ride. All of the action you could ask for is served up tenfold from start to finish in this film. Everything from gun/knife fights, car chases, animal encounters, and explosions. There is action for everyone. You are going to be on the edge of your seat, you are going to have some laughs, and maybe even a few tears in this installment. Keanu is tough as nails and delivers even in the scenes where you can feel his character getting exhausted from endless rounds of fighting. He may not have much to say in this movie but what he does say packs a punch. The Marquis delivers a proper amount of cold callousness to the movie that keeps you guessing what his next move will be. Caine & Tracker bring an interesting dynamic to the film and both add a certain charm and humor to their roles in various ways. Plus Tracker's dog is a scene stealer anytime he makes an appearance.

Overall, John Wick has saved the best of the franchise for last in John Wick: Chapter 4. There is so much to love about this movie I can't say enough great things about it. From the acting to the action to even the insanely great soundtrack you are going to have a hell of a good time with John Wick: Chapter 4. Also for those of you who don't mind waiting a few minutes more be sure to stay after the end of the credits for a short but sweet bonus scene. Trust me it is worth your time to stay for this one. Also, we would be remiss if we didn't give a shout-out to Lance Reddick who plays Charon, everyone's favorite hotel concierge. He wasn't in the film for a long time but the screen time we do get with him is sure to give you all the feels. The John Wick series is a perfect example of how to do an action series the right way. if you see nothing else this weekend, make sure you add John Wick: Chapter 4 to your watchlist. This movie actually commands to be seen on the big screen. You will not be disappointed.
